Galletto Ristorante: A Taste of Italian Elegance and Flavor in Modesto, CA

All-time favorite place for Italian food. Often come here for all special occasions and with friends for meet-ups. Very pleasant staff always welcoming. The pasta is delicious and the desserts are to die for…! This is a gem for our area. The restaurant is very spacious and I think you can even plan events in the patio. Excellent experience every time.

First time at this place. The General Manager Cal was really helpful helping my elderly mom out of the car. He also greeted us at the door. We were unaware that we needed a reservation but they were able to give us a table. I have a gluten free diet and its hard to find a place with gluten free food so I appreciated that they had options for me. I had the meatballs. The serving sizes were nice. The only negative part I would say is that the lighting was dim and hard to see the menu. I give a shout out to the General Manager he went my family and I feel welcome.

The manager was truly the GOAT my first visit here, truly amazing atmosphere. Good perfect. We were placed outside and it being our first time it was super hot outside, nd inside was just too beautiful to pass on. I said one word to the manager, and he was on it for me. "Best feeling ever" nd Ima brotha, took my ex nd accompanied BIG TIME taken her here. Let's just say what I paid was worth every dollar that night. Well worth it

Native San Franciscan and live in San Francisco ( 2 1/2 drive well worth it)have lived in San Francisco, my entire life and I am very fortunate that my job,:and my work-related duties required me to dine at every 4 and 5 star restaurants in San Francisco for the last 25 years daily, so I'm pretty tainted and jaded because I still get the red carpet treatment. But I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised by the service, and the food, and the ambiance at Gallettos. Especially the way the manager Cal treated my guest and we're due to be back there on her birthday. Thank you Cal. See you this weekend

We were there for a work meeting so we did not have access to the full menu. What was selected was absolutely delicious. The chicken was roasted to perfection with a very juicy texture. The potatoes were crispy. The service was perfect my food was served hot and my drinks didn’t ever get empty. My only complaint was that Our meeting ended and we had to leave;) next time I am passing through Modesto this will have to be a stop with the family!!!

We are SF people, out of the area, very pleasantly surprised. Great staff, good food, pleasant atmosphere & decor. Just perfect for out birthday evening out.

Just had dinner there. Might been the best meal l’ve ever had in Modesto. Started with excellent Martini. Then the seafood chowder. That was very good. Main was the salmon. Asked for medium rare and the nailed it. The dish was fantastic. Gelato and espresso for dessert. Fantastic meal. After dinner drink at the bar capped off a great evening.
